Decisions, Decisions….

Gentle Readers,
(“Uh-oh, she’s being serious again—all hands brace for impact!”)

I said a while back that I felt I should fulfill my promise to post pictures from my family’s vacation this Summer. I thought it was God telling me to keep my “vow.” However, the more I think about it, the less comfortable I am putting personal/family stuff on a public blog. It’s not that I don’t trust you-all (and The Rambling Rose is probably pretty far under the radar in the grand scheme of the Internet, anyhow), but one never knows who else might be reading. So I’m just going to err on the side of caution. That’s not to say I wouldn’t do a Fashion Feature now and then—I’d still really like to do more of those…once I learn how to use the self-timer on Mister Camera—but stuff that involves other Flesh-and-Blood people…erm, no.

I think my problem is that I never really know what I want my blog to be about. I see other people doing fabulous things with their blogs and want to do them, too…then find out the hard way that that’s just not my bag. And in the process, I unintentionally subject my Gentle Readers to a lot of waffling and frustration. A thousand apologies!

Anyway, I think maybe—just maybe—God is beginning to show me the direction He wants me to take this blog. For now, I’m going to take a step of faith, try a few things, and see how it goes.

Thank you for bearing with me. *Blush*

Until next time, Gentle Readers,
God bless,
~“Tom”~

  1. Blogging is harder than you'd think, and finding your groove is hard, too. Just blog about what you enjoy and don't worry about your blog having a "theme" to it. Share what you want to share, even if you don't think anyone else will be interested. That's how I do it;)
I don't always comment, but I do enjoy reading your blog:)

  2. Same here, Tom. Just do what you enjoy doing, and learn along the way. I think you're doing a great job!
Your posts always bring a smile to my day.

Please feel free to leave a comment—I LOVE comments!—so long as it is God-honoring, clean, kind and coherent. Anything obscene, profane, mean-spirited or unintelligible will be deleted. As webmistress, that's my right.

...But I trust I sha'n't have to use it. ;-)
