God be praised! Mister Laptop is running smoothly again *knockonwood*, all my bookmarks are re-established, and GLORY BE! all my files survived!!! :-D So now I can get back to some things I've been itching to do...such as blogging. ;-)

I'll be posting my answers to Tasha and Ashley's Doctor Who Blog Party when I have some free time, plus working on those other posts I hinted at in my last entry.

Hello there, Gentle Readers! 

I had planned to have a special post all written up for this week, but then Mister Laptop went stupid on me (booted up to a certain point and stopped, and wouldn't let me click on anything--even the Start menu to turn it off properly!!!), and I had to call in the Heavy Artillery (i.e., my computer-savvy brother). It'll work sometimes (obviously, since I'm writing this post), but in a nutshell, Mister Laptop needs a memory wipe and complete reinstall to get him working smoothly again. We're in the process of backing up all my documents, photos and what-not, so I don't want to add to any of them until after Peter's done with the reinstall (otherwise we'd have to go through the backing-up process all over again--not fun). So until then, a little teaser of what's to come....
